Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss and the Township Council Host a Very Successful Casino Night for 400 Seniors

Irvington’s Mayor Tony Vauss and the Irvington’s Township Council hosted a fantastic Casino Night for more than 400 Irvington seniors on April 14th. The event took place at the Irvington Senior Center. The guests enjoyed dinner, live music, and played games on professional casino tables with real Atlantic City dealers. There was dancing and excitement in the air. The seniors won gifts through a raffle which included flat screen televisions, gift cards and a wide range of items.   All of the expenses were paid for personally by the Mayor, members of the Township Council, and Town Hall staff.

“This is our third year for hosting Casino Night for our seniors,” said Mayor Vauss. “Last year we had about 250 seniors come and enjoy the night and this year we had more than 400. I knew this casino night would be even bigger and better than the previous ones and it was! Once again, they out- danced me and wore me out! This is the Council’s and my way of saying ‘thank you‘ to our seniors.”

Mayor Vauss has promised that this will be an annual event.
