Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss and Township Council Invite Residents and Organizations to Attend and Participate in the Annual Irvington Memorial Day Parade

Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss and the Township Council invite Irvington residents, their guests, and organizations to attend and support the Township’s Annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade will take place on Monday, May 25, 2015, beginning at 11:00am in the Irvington High School Football Stadium.

“We are pleased to bring our community together to honor the sacrifices made our service men and women who died while protecting our country,” said Mayor Vauss. “The Council and I look forward to this time of memorial and celebration.”

“We expect our Memorial Day Parade to bring together hundreds of people for a community celebration of those who have given their lives so that we can live free,” said Donald Malloy, director of the Recreation Department for the Township. “We are asking organizations to support this event. If anyone would like to march in the parade, they should contact the Recreation Department at 973-399-6597.”
