Mayor Tony Vauss is pleased to announce that the overall tax rate for the property owners of Irvington, decreased by 3 cents per 100 dollars.
“I am very pleased to report that the taxpayers of my town will be paying less,” said Mayor Vauss. “I promised to hold the line on taxes and the overall tax rate for Irvington has decreased. This was made possible because of our great working relationship with Essex County and the excellent job the County Executive, Joe DiVincenzo, continues to do for Irvington and the other municipalities. This means more money in the pockets of the property owners.”
This is the first budget approved during the Mayor Tony Vauss’ administration.
