Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss to Receive Vote of Confidence and Support from Municipal Council, Essex County, and State

Irvington’s Municipal Council, Essex County Freeholders, and the State Representatives for Irvington, will be honoring Mayor Tony Vauss for a successful first year in office, on Monday, July 13th at 6:00pm at 50 Union Avenue, 2nd floor, Irvington, New Jersey.

Council President Charnette Frederic will host the event and the entire Township Council, led by Councilman David Lyons and Councilwoman Sandra Jones, will present the Mayor with a vote of confidence and support in recognition of his substantial accomplishments in just one year. County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo and Freeholders Roland Bobadilla and Leonard Luciano will provide the Mayor with special commendations. Senator Ronald Rice and Assemblypersons Ralph Caputo and Cleopatra Tucker will also be part of the program extending special recognition from the state. Other participants will include: Dr. Neely Hackett, Superintendent of the Irvington School District; David Brown, Executive Director of the Irvington Housing Authority; Musa Malik, Irvington Business Administrator and acting Police Director; Police Chief Michael Chase; Fire Director John Brown; and, Fire Chief John Tierney.
