Irvington’s Mayor Invites Residents to Irvington’s Unity Day Celebrations

Irvington’s Mayor Tony Vauss is inviting residents and their guests to the Township’s 15th Annual Unity Day Celebration. The day of fun and entertainment will take place on Saturday, August 13th from noon until 6:00pm at Orange Park which is located right behind Irvington High School. The rain date will be Sunday, August 14th.

“This is an annual event that brings  residents of all ages together to listen to live music, and enjoy free food and rides,” said Mayor Vauss. “Some of our performers include: Joe Branch of Wilber’s Heart Delphonics; Buddy from Blue Magic; Miss Nana; Valerie Adams and the Dimensions Band; Billy Brown, former lead singer of Ray, Goodman, Brown and the Moments; as well as DJ Antoine and DJ Lil Taj. Each year the event is bigger and better!”

There is still space available for a limited number of vendors. The current sponsors include: MTS Towing; Don’s Diner; IHOP; SACBID/CBID; Wells Fargo; and, Investor’s Bank.
