Location: Township of Irvington
Qualifications:
Be able to lift 50 lbs. Applicant must be able to speak English. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments. Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Be able to work overtime when required. Must have strong work ethic. Ability to work in a team setting. Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Clean and paint streets and curbs. Use of push blower and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to application of seal coat or crack fill material. Dig, spread, and level construction materials as directed. General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep crews. Place, move, and dismantle signs, barricades, or cones. Loads, lifts, moves supplies, and equipment. Digs trenches and does manual grading. Cleans incinerators, collects rubbish and other refuse, cuts grass, and trims hedges. Loads and unloads trucks, whitewashes walls, shovels gravel and sand, mixes cement and mortar. Places forms used in concrete work, performs cold patching. Cleans up underbrush, foliage, vines, and weeds. Learns to operate construction and/or maintenance equipment. Lift, carry, and clean tools and equipment. Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends when needed. Assisting others with varying aspects of the demolition if needed.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
