Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss Announces June as Irvington’s Pet Drive and Adopt a Cat Month

Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss announced that June will be Irvington’s 2015 Pet Drive and Adopt a Cat Month. During the month, wet or dry cat and dog food, small bottle feeding kits, cat and dog toys and treats, will be accepted in drop off bins located at Irvington Town Hall and Irvington Fire House.

“There are hundreds of pets in the Township who have owners who are under financial distress but who are doing their best to feed and care for their dogs and cats, “said Mayor Vauss. “Township Council and I are asking those of us who can give a helping hand, to do so every month of the year, and particularly during the month of June. ”

“Each Saturday in June, from 11am-noon, items that were collected that week will be distributed at the Irvington Fire Station at Civic Square, to Irvington residents.”
