Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss announced that the Township will have a 911 Memorial Service on Friday, September 11, at 10:00am in front of the Public Safety Building on Civic Square East. The public is invited to attend this event.
“As time goes on, some may begin to forget the sacrifices our first responders – fire and police – made on that terrible day 14 years ago,” said Mayor Vauss. “The people of Irvington will not forget the sacrifices they made then and now. On September 11, 2015, we will come together to honor our own and say ‘thank you’.”
