Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss commended: the Township’s Business Administrator, Musa Malik; Chief Financial Officer, Faheem Ra’Oof; and, Fire Chief John Tierney, for positive statements the Mayor received from William Mulligan, Irvington Deputy Chief’s Representative of the Irvington Deputy Chief’s Association. In a letter written by Mulligan to the Mayor, the representative recognized the effort of the team during the recently completed contract negotiations.
Representative Mulligan indicated that the team was “at all times capable and professional and represented the Township’s interests well.” He thanked them for treating his group “fairly and professionally throughout the process”.
“I am proud of the team I have assembled to assist me in duties as the Mayor of Irvington,” said Mayor Vauss. “Together we work as one team for one Irvington.”
